A STUDY ON ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY AND EXTENSION OF SHELF LIFE OF FRESH COW URINE

Cow urine has been used as medicine since ancient times andthe scriptures of Ayurveda consider cow to be the elixir life. The present study analyzes inhibitory effects fresh at different pH (8.2,4.4,3.8) intervals 5,10, 20,30 days and antibacterial activity was analyzed against Escherichia coli , Staphylococcus aureus Klebsiella sp. It found that no bacterial growth in 3.8 after 30 days. Shelf life could extended lowering pHwhich also makes it palatable becomes odourless. Maximum observed sample gram positive gram-negative bacteria (24mm ± 2.0), (22mm 2.0) sp 1.0).Fresh more active exhibited better activity.It can control bacteria.
